Privacy

A short notice, because this is a small static site — but every category of data we could possibly touch is covered below.

This is a static site. We don't run accounts, forms, sign-in, or a database of visitors. There is no "your data" to export or delete because we never collect anything that identifies you in the first place.

What we store, and where

  • Theme preference — your light/dark choice is saved under one key in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and we can't read it.
  • The referral pool — the list of current codes is embedded in the page as static JSON so your browser can pick one at random client-side. It's the same for every visitor; it isn't personalized to you.
  • Nothing else. No account rows, no server-side visitor database, no email list you're ever silently added to.

Cookies & analytics

When the site operator has configured Google Analytics 4, GA4 may set its own cookies (for example _ga-prefixed cookies) to measure aggregate usage — page views and events like copying a referral link — under Google's own retention and privacy terms. No analytics script is loaded at all when no analytics ID is configured — there's no dangling tag quietly waiting to activate. You can block these cookies in your browser, or use a Google Analytics opt-out browser extension, without breaking any part of the tool: copying a link and opening it at Tesla work identically with analytics on or off.

Server & hosting logs

Like almost any website, our hosting provider's edge servers may keep short-lived standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested path) for security and abuse prevention — this is a normal function of the hosting layer, not something we configure, query, or use to identify individual visitors.

Where a click takes you

Tapping "Open at Tesla" or a referral link sends you to ts.la, which redirects into tesla.com — at that point Tesla's own privacy policy applies, not ours. We don't see or receive anything about what you do after you leave this site.

Children's privacy

This site is a shopping utility for prospective Tesla buyers and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from children, and given we don't collect personal information from anyone, there's nothing to collect in practice.

Changes to this notice

If what we store ever changes — a new feature, a new analytics vendor — this page is updated the same day and the date below moves. It hasn't needed to change since the site launched.
